Today that usually means multiple commutes north for ice time.

What we are planning
A twin-sheet campus can stack public skate, LTS, youth blocks, freestyle, and adult league windows so families are not choosing which child gets the long drive each week. Calendars, pricing, and registration rules will follow operating partner selection - nothing here is a commitment of dates or fees.
Area programs today
Youth hockey families typically register through AMHA at north-metro sheets such as Chaparral Ice, Ice & Field at The Crossover, and The Pond Hockey Club. Local ice is meant to shorten that geography, not replace how the association organizes play.

Outreach and planning draw on regional demographic context and feasibility analysis informed by NHL-affiliated municipal-rink precedent, without implying any specific operating partner, site, or timeline. Details evolve as feasibility work continues.
