Bee Cave Ice

Figure skating — club, freestyle, and coaching

Figure skating club culture, freestyle sessions, and coaching depth — planned for the same roof as community hockey so families do not have to choose a direction across town.

One campus, full ice culture

Figure skaters have the same geographic gap as hockey families: permanent year-round ice is concentrated away from southwest Austin. We are planning a facility where figure skating sits alongside hockey and learn-to-skate as a first-class citizen — club programming, freestyle blocks, and coaching aligned with U.S. Figure Skating expectations.

What we are planning

  • Club and freestyle session scheduling that respects school-year demand
  • Coaching and testing pathways as the program mix is finalized with operators
  • Transparent communication on ice costs and schedules when those details exist — not promised on this Phase 1 page

Grounded in data and proven models

Outreach and planning draw on regional demographic context and feasibility analysis informed by NHL-affiliated municipal-rink precedent — without implying any specific operating partner, site, or timeline. Details evolve as feasibility work continues.
